【摘要】:Thistestmethodcoverstwoproceduresforestimatingthepresenceofsuspendedfreewaterandsolidparticulatecontaminationindistillatefuelshavingdistillationendpointsbelow400CandanASTMcolorof5orless.Bothprocedurescanbeusedasfieldtestsatstoragetemperatures,oraslaboratorytestsatcontrolledtemperatures.Procedure1providesarapidpass/failmethodforcontamination.Procedure2providesagrossnumericalratingofhazeappearance.ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
